The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, Elder Patrick Albert has been inducted as Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Leadership and Mentorship.
The induction which took place today, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the inaugural Conference held at Governor’s Office Annex, Uyo witnessed Pastor Emmanuel Eduongo, President/Chief Executive Officer of the Institute carry out the induction.
It could be recalled that the letter for Albert’s nomination had stated that the inductee was nominated based on his leadership pedigree, ingenuity and extra ordinary prowess in managing the affairs of Journalists in the State in the past four years.
The President and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute disclosed that the Institute of Corporate Leadership and Mentorship, limited by guarantee is legally registered by Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria under CAMA 1990 vide certificate No. RC: 1427954 and approved by the Federal Ministry of Education.
Reacting after the induction, the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, Elder Patrick Albert while accepting the conferment congratulated the management of Institute of Corporate Leadership and Mentorship for availing herself to train people in leadership.
He said the gesture will not only improve quality of governance in the State and country but will aid in molding better citizenry.
He described the President of the Institute, Pastor Eduongo as a seasoned journalist whose practice is worthy to be reckoned with.
While pledging to contribute meaningfully to the uplift of the Institute, the NUJ Chairman wished him well in managing the affairs of the institute.
