AKISAT’23 Inauguration: Stakeholders Pass Verdict on Tinubu Presidency

Stakeholders across Akwa Ibom State and beyond have passed a verdict on Tinubu presidency in 2023.

An amalgam of political thinkers across parties converged in Uyo over the weekend to forge a common front towards promoting the idea of having the former Lagos State Governor succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Coming under the aegis of Akwa Ibom Stakeholders for Asiwaju Tinubu 2023 (AKISAT’23), the group was on Friday inaugurated by the Chairman, Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), Senator Dayo Adeyeye at Watbridge Hotels and Suites.

Setting the tone for the event, the Dean of AKISAT’23, Rt. Hon. Eseme Eyiboh stated that as days were rolling by, it was glaring that the next election year was approaching and there was need to begin the search for a perfect successor for President Muhammadu Buhari.

The former Spokesperson of the 5th House of Representatives, stated that keen eyes have spotted a man who has the political will, the charisma and the worhty character to provide effective leadership for a United Nigeria.

The immediate past Chairman, Cross River Basin Development Authority explained that Tinubu prides himself as a multi-versatile leader whose sense of nationality promises to provide security and economic stability.

Similarly, the Akwa Ibom State coordinator for Tinubu support group,  Mr. Ekpe James made known that his group is a gathering of individuals who believe in the capacity of Senator Tinubu to turn the country around and bring about desired change.

Performing the inauguration, the SWAGA chairman, Senator Dayo Adeyeye expressed hope for a prosperous Nigeria as he believed that Asiwaju Tinubu was well equipped to lead a secured and economically viable country.

Himself a former Minister of works, Dayo Adeyeye noted that Nigeria was in a time in history where greenhorns were no options for leadership attainment.

He said the country needs an experienced leader who understands the direction to a more efficient and prosperous Nigeria.

Senator Adeyeye described Mr Tinubu as a charismatic, selfless and detribalized leader who is a Muslim but with one wife who is not just a Christian but a pastor in the Redeemed Church of God.

Senator Adeyeye commended AKISAT’23 for joining other political movements across the 36 states and the FCT in mobilizing support for Tinubu presidency.

On his own, Senator Adesoji Akanbi was thankful to Akwa Ibom stakeholders for unitedly promoting Mr Tinubu’s leadership brand for a better Nigeria.

Akanbi submitted that Asiwaju Tinubu represents a United Nigeria where every part is given equal rights to development and progress.

“A lot of people are talking about separation, while others are talking about restructuring and one United Nigeria, Tinubu stands for oneness of this country.

“We can understand people’s agitation for separation when there’s injustice, but we have materials in Nigeria that can keep us in peace and unity”, he stated.
