Oron Union’s PG Emeritus Adds Another Feather to His Cap


The Emeritus President-General of Oron Union, Sir (Dr) Asuquo Inuikim Obon, KJW has added another feather to his cap, having bagged an award of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) as a Fellow.

A letter recently endorsed by the president and chairman of Council, Mrs Patience E. Anabor, FNIM, through the registrar/chief executive of the body, Tony Fadaka, FNIM, conveyed the good news to the Knight of John Wesley.

The letter stated that the consumate administrator was being elevated to the Distinguished grade of a Fellow, following his unrelenting contributions to the development of the management profession.

Asuquo Inuikim was fomerly a Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and would assume the Distinguished professional grade of Fellow once the conferment ‘rite’ is conducted.

According to the notification letter, Dr Inuikim’s attainment ranks him among the highest management level both professionally and personally.

The letter reads in parts, “The unique award is conferred on members who have contributed to the development of the Institute, management profession and the civil society at large.

“As a fellow, you will be required to be actively involved in all the programmes of the Institute through the Faculty of Fellows, where your core competence and area of specialization in your profession will be brought to bear and utilized.”

The letter informed that the conferment ceremony holds on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Muson Centre 8/9 Marina Road, Lagos at 11.00am prompt.
